No Wife and Wee One Kickoff

The wife and wee one went off to Maine with her sisters and their children. This allowed myself and Thelma's husband enjoy a nice evening of consuming vast amounts of raw fish at Fugakyu Cafe. This time armed with my SD630, I was able to take better pictures. Once again, the service and food was excellent.

Mmmmmmm what's your favourite nigiri sushi or maki?

I've never seen that apple dessert. is it good?

I like them both, nigiri and maki. The boat also featured some sashimi, which was uncharted territory for me. I definitely need the rice when consuming raw fish. I also had the Walu Walu Appetizer with Super White Tuna. This sashimi was excellent because it was thinly sliced featuring a tasty sauce and radish garnish. On the side, they had rice and ikura (salmon eggs). Not a fan of ikura.

I can't remember the name of the apple dessert, it was tasty but not at the sweetness I would have expected from such a dessert. We also had a green tea ice cream tempora, that I didn't photograph because it looked like a ball of mash potatoes. This as well as was good, but not a the level of sweetness I was looking for in a dessert.

that boat-load of sushi looks divine! i haven't had good sushi since we moved to Tennessee, almost two years ago. i hate living in a land-locked state.
