QotD: Let's Go There

What's your favorite vacation destination?

Before the wee one was born, the wife and I enjoyed going to Key West during the winter. We would do absolutely nothing while we were down there. Our routine would go something like this:

Wake up and have breakfast
Walk to the beach and grab and iced coffee on the way
Lay on beach until lunch
Grab lunch and a margarita at a local restaurant
Go back to beach
Return to inn, change, and go out to dinner
Return to inn and veg in front of TV

That was pretty much it. The same routine everyday for a week. I loved it. To me, a vacation is about relaxing. I, once, went on a vacation with my in-laws to Greece. That was not a vacation. It was waking up at 6 AM to go sightseeing or grab a tour bus, running around everywhere and never taking a rest. When the wife and I returned from Greece, we took a couple extra days off to have a vacation from our Greece "vacation".

Ah, Key West. I haven't been in several years though. But our routine was pretty much the same, minus the maragritas, since I was about 15 at the time. Next time you go, you should eat breakfast at Ricky's Blue Heaven, if you haven't eaten there already.

oh yeah we hit that. We had breakfast outside with the chicks and chickens. They also have that heavenly bananas and brown sugar desert, which we always go for (even at breakfast).
